Ginger on apples
Recipe for ginger and apple liqueur
10 dag of ginger root
- ½ cup of liquid honey
- 2 hard apples
- 1 litre of vodka
Peel the apples, cut into eights, remove the core. Cut ginger into slices, combine with apples, pour honey and vodka. Set aside for 2 months (shake the jar every few days). After two months, pour off the liquid, filter it through cotton wool and leave to mature for another 2 months.
