Recipe for juniper tincture
Jałowcówka is a tincture of a brown colour, reminiscent of gin in taste and smell.
- 30 fresh or 15 dried juniper seeds
- teaspoon of sugar
- 1 litre of vodka
Rinsed and drained juniper berries put into a bottle, add sugar, pour the alcohol. Set aside for about 6 weeks, shake the bottle every few days. The liqueur is ready to drink. It can be purified by straining it through a funnel and cotton wool and combine again with juniper berries.
